Job Summary Work with funeral home clients with the goal of ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through the seamless delivery of caskets, urns, and cemetery vault set-ups and tear downs.

Tasks

  • Pick up and deliver new caskets and urns from warehouse operations to funeral home customers.
  • Assist with the set up and tear down of equipment for funerals. This involves delivering burial vaults to the cemetery, setting up equipment for the funeral home prior to the funeral service, and then tearing down the equipment once the funeral is completed.
  • Assist with warehouse inventory of loading and unloading of products.
  • Ensure safe keeping and handling of inventory in warehouse.
  • Receive product orders, scheduling, and delivery instructions to determine daily/weekly work assignments along with product and equipment needs.
  • Must be able to work a varied weekly schedule including some weekends to accommodate funeral home client scheduling needs.

  • Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as bending and lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Inspecting Equipment and Inventory - Inspecting equipment and inventory to identify problems or defects.
  • Operating Vehicles and Equipment - Driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles, and trucks (less than 26,000 GVW).
